Industry News Air Freight Space From Asia Predicted to Shrink in October 9/22/2009 Air carriers are advising us that bookings for freighter space from Asia to the USA is rising very quickly and their forecast is that freighter space will become scarce starting early in October. Some importers are already booking air charters. Consequently they are adivising us that the market will probably see increases of from 10% to 30% in air rates early in October. Buyers are encouraged to avoid reliance on past excesses in capacity during this Fall season.
